Meet The Staff

Todd Wells

Todd M. Wells is the Senior Pastor of Redeeming Vine. He came to faith in Christ in 1995 and was called to pursue a ministry of preaching in 2000. He began a teaching and preaching ministry in 2001, and supplied in various churches over the next 10 years. He has been actively involved in many aspects of ministry, teaching introductory theology to adults, teaching bible to elementary and junior high students, and serving as a nursing home minister, as well. His passion is to make the Bible understandable to everyone without forfeiting "the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God."

He is committed to expositional preaching that connects us to Jesus wherever you are in Scripture. He loves the people of God and aspires to help everyone increasingly grow in Christlikeness. He considers Charles Spurgeon and John Piper among his greatest heroes of the faith outside of the Bible.

Outside of ministry, his interests include gardening, hiking, meteorology, and wildlife photography with a particular emphasis on reptiles and amphibians. He loves "almost all" forms of music and enjoys old movie classics. He has been married to his wife, Melanie, for nearly 17 years and has 4 children, Emma, Nathan ("Sam"), Ben, and Sage Alysse.
